A beautiful waterfall awaits you after a short hike from the parking lot. Ideal for kids or people who have trouble with long hikes. Thunderbird Falls is accessed just north of Peter’s Creek at the Thunderbird Falls exit.

As with all hiking in Alaska, we highly recommend you take bear spray and make lots of noise as you hike no matter where you go.
